From the Great First Cause to the Kingdom of Minerals — the nested ladder of conscious existence

Beyond all manifestation, beyond all law, beyond consciousness as we understand it. The Great First Cause is not a being — it is the undifferentiated ground of all being, the infinite I AM from which every individualized spark of God originates. No Ray, no vibration, no time, no space. Only pure, infinite potentiality holding within itself the seed of all that will ever be.
Nothing meaningful can truly be said about this level. All Ascended Master teaching begins here and immediately acknowledges the limit of language. It is the Causeless Cause — the silence before the first Fiat of Light.
The first movement of the Absolute into manifestation produces the threefold nature of the Holy Trinity, three aspects that are not separate beings but three faces of one reality. Their interplay is the engine of all cosmic creation.
First Aspect (Ray I): Will/Power — the sheer impulse to be, to exist, to project Spirit into matter. The initiating force behind all manifestation.
Second Aspect (Ray II): Love-Wisdom — the quality of conscious relationship, cohesion, and illumination. The soul of the universe. Dominant in our Solar System.
Third Aspect (Ray III): Active Intelligence — the divine creative activity that builds vehicles through which the first two aspects can express. The cosmic Mother, matter reaching toward Spirit.
Ray IRay IIRay IIIAlpha and Omega govern the Great Central Sun, the spiritual center of our galaxy and the source of life for all solar systems within it. They themselves draw from the Great First Cause, the infinite I AM, the Source beyond all sources.
It was to Alpha and Omega that Helios and Vesta, the masculine and feminine Beings who would become our own Sun, applied for the right to create a system of worlds. The application was granted.
Creation moves in a great cosmic rhythm of outbreath and inbreath. On the outbreath, the Central Sun breathes forth its Suns, and each Sun in turn breathes forth its Planets. At the end of a cosmic cycle, the inbreath begins: Planets draw closer to their Sun, and Suns are drawn back into the Heart of the Great Central Sun. Our own galaxy is presently on the inbreath, which is why the Earth and the other Planets of this system are being called toward greater vibratory refinement.
Called forth from the Great Silence once Helios and Vesta's design was complete, the Cosmic Silent Watcher received into her consciousness the complete design of all seven planets. She holds what the teachings call the Immaculate Concept, the perfect divine blueprint, for each planet until the moment of its creation.
For Earth specifically, a second great Being, the Planetary Silent Watcher known as Immaculata, received Earth's design alone and holds it still today, regardless of what has happened to the planet since.
When the cosmic moment for Earth's birth arrived, the Seven Mighty Elohim studied the divine blueprint held by the Planetary Silent Watcher and projected mighty light rays from their combined consciousness to form the matrix of the new planet.
They called forth the Directors of the Forces of Nature, Virgo for earth, Neptune for water, Aries for air, while Helios and Vesta contributed the element of fire. Nine hundred consecutive cycles of springtime passed before a single soul set foot on the finished Earth.
Helios and Vesta designed their solar system from within their own consciousness, holding the vision of seven planets, their locations, their sizes, and the number of souls that would eventually inhabit each one. From the heart center of their Being they expanded this vision outward, then spun out of their very Selves the Universal Light Substance from which everything that followed would be built.
Our sun, the physical sun you see in the sky, is the body of Helios and Vesta. They give life not only to Earth but to all seven planets of our solar system. Every planet is a center in their body; every kingdom of nature on every planet contributes to their experience.
We are in the second of three solar systems: the first developed the physical aspect, the present second is developing Love-Wisdom (Ray II), and the third will develop divine Will. This is why every life in our system ultimately serves the learning of conscious love.

Inspiration is poured forth from here to religious teachers.
Mankind is inspired here to become individual conductors of Divine Perfection. Each Lifestream also carries the Causal Body's coloring back to a home Sphere, First, Second, or Third Ray in character, and works toward balancing all seven before the Ascension.

Perception of the Plan and the wisdom to analyze methods of operation. Jophiel and Constance carry Illumination. The dominant Ray of our present solar system.

Ministering to the needs of the moment to hold Peace throughout all activities. Uriel and Donna Grace minister to the requirements of the hour.
Rhythm of Invocation of the Sacred Fire to maintain the Divine Plan. Zadkiel and Holy Amethyst invoke Divine Mercy, Compassion, and Transmutation. The Ray now presiding, under Saint Germain, since May 1, 1954.
The Earth was not an accident. It was designed within the consciousness of Helios and Vesta, its blueprint held by Immaculata, the Planetary Silent Watcher, and built by the Seven Mighty Elohim, who prepared the planet through nine hundred consecutive cycles of springtime before a single soul set foot on it.
Sanat Kumara, the Lord of the World, holds the light of Earth at the etheric center called Shamballa. He came from Venus at a critical juncture in Earth's evolution, when the planet risked being dissolved entirely under the weight of the Laggards. His sacrifice sustained Earth for millions of years, until his release was granted by the Karmic Board on January 21, 1956.
When Helios and Vesta sent forth the Elohim to build the planets, each was given a Scepter carrying the magnetic Power of that world. Earth's Scepter remained in the keeping of Sanat Kumara until his return to Venus, and is now held by Lord Gautama within the Secret Chambers at Shamballa.
The etheric center where Sanat Kumara, Lord of the World, and his council hold the divine plan for Earth. The point of contact between Sanat Kumara's office and Earth's evolution. No ordinary human or even Master contacts Shamballa directly, its energy is stepped down through the Hierarchy.

Ray I · WillThe Great White Brotherhood is the working body of Ascended Masters, souls who completed their evolution on Earth and merged back into the Light of their own I AM Presence. The name has nothing to do with race, it points to a state of consciousness. Jesus, Mary, Buddha, and Moses all belong to this body.
Its first council was held at Shamballa hundreds of thousands of years ago, presided over by Sanat Kumara at a Golden Table representing the sun. The Maha Chohan, meaning the Great Lord, is one of its highest members. From the beginning, the Brotherhood was built to include humanity's participation, souls in or out of the body were invited, never commanded, into its work. That invitation is still open today.
Humanity is the fourth kingdom in nature — the most complex and most spiritually significant of the lower kingdoms, because it is within humanity that individualized self-conscious evolution occurs. Humanity as a whole is a planetary center whose task is to receive from Shamballa and the Hierarchy and radiate spiritual light into the lower kingdoms.
The New Group of World Servers forms the bridge between Hierarchy and the masses — disciples and aspirants who consciously cooperate with the Plan.
Ray III · IntelligenceHumans are individualized sparks of God who took physical embodiment to become Masters of energy and substance. Alone among the three, humans carry the Threefold Flame in the physical heart and evolve through repeated incarnation across the seven Root Races toward the Ascension.
The Cherubim saturate themselves with the virtues of the Sun God and Goddess and radiate feeling and virtue to Earth. The Seraphim form the honor guard of Beings who travel the Cosmos. The Devas ensoul constructive activity on Earth, cathedrals, mountains, lakes, woodlands. The Angelic Host, created by the Archangels, Archaii, Cosmic Beings, and Ascended Masters, serve as their messengers, carrying Their Gifts into Earth's atmosphere.
Elemental Beings form the very body of man, his atmosphere, and everything he touches, mirroring back what humanity thinks and feels. The four elements are each directed by their own Divine Beings: air by Thor and Aries (Sylphs), water by Neptune and Lunar (Undines), earth by Pelleur and Virgo (Gnomes), and fire by Helios and Vesta (Salamanders). These Elementals hold the patterns for every flower, fruit, grain, tree, and mineral gift on Earth. The Animal Kingdom is part of this Kingdom too, elemental beings forced by humanity's post-Fall impurity into the forms they now inhabit.
Beings of pure etheric substance — more breath than form. Group-soul consciousness. No individual karma. The bare impulse to be. Reproduction by fission/emanation.
Ray IStill etheric but densifying. Rudimentary group cohesion — the lowest octave of love as magnetic unity. No individual love, but no separation either. Reproduction by budding.
Ray IIFirst physical bodies. The pivotal event: individualization, the Solar Angels ignite the flame of mind in humanity. Personal karma begins. The Prometheus myth. Continent in the Pacific/Indian Ocean region.
Ray IIIRay IV emergingPsychic/emotional apex. Great civilizations. The War between the White and Black Lodges. Misuse of natural forces. Karma of Atlantis sinks the continent. Under Lord Himalaya, its Guardian. It was in the early years of this race that the Fall occurred, when laggard souls from other stars were allowed to take embodiment on Earth.
Ray IVRay VIDevelopment of the concrete mind. Science, philosophy, technology. The great temptation: intellectual pride and separatism. The task: align mind with soul. Under its Guardian. Its mission is to develop the intellect of man.
Ray VRay VII incomingIntuition as the dominant faculty — direct knowing beyond the analytical mind. The full flowering of Love-Wisdom in human consciousness. Its Guardian is Lord Meru. Centered on the North American continent at its apex.
Ray II fullnessThe full expression of divine will in matter — the spiritualization of the physical vehicle. Spirit and Matter recognized as one. Its Guardian is Lord Saithrhu (the Great Divine Director), centered at its height on the South American continent.
Ray I fullnessThe I AM Presence is not a metaphor. It is a real, living Being, your individualized God Self, residing above you in what the teachings call the Electronic Body. It is the fullness of what you actually are, temporarily expressing itself through a physical form.
The entire journey of evolution is the soul's progressive return to full, conscious union with the I AM Presence, the same union the teachings call the Ascension.
The Holy Christ Self is the intermediary between the I AM Presence above and the physical self below, the stream of electronic light flowing down what the teachings call the Silver Cord. It gradually informs the personality with its light as the aspirant seeks conscious contact through meditation, service, and gnosis.
The threefold vehicle through which the Holy Christ Self operates in the three lower worlds: the mental body (thoughts), the astral/emotional body (feelings and desires), and the physical/etheric body. The Silver Cord anchors in the heart as the Threefold Flame, the spark of the I AM Presence carried in physical form.
Alignment of the physical self with the Holy Christ Self, and ultimately full reunion with the I AM Presence, is the Ascension.
